Environment Canada Lays out Weather Projections for February

February in southwestern Ontario will be colder than usual.

That’s according to Environment Canada meteorologist Geoff Coulson.

The national forecasters most recent report says more consistent snow after an inconsistent start to January along with no break in colder temperatures is what’s in store for the long term.

Meteorologists say we likely won’t see any more unpredictable weather causing a large melt into a quick freeze for the remainder of February.

The short-range forecast is calling for as much as 20 centimetres of snow through Friday and Sunday.
