Bill 148 contains a great deal more than just a wage increase.
Local businesses biggest concern moving forward is making sure they are compliant with all of the new changes pertaining to part-time positions, vacation and sick leave according to Beatty.
He says other problems the region faces is attracting and retaining talent.
