Oxford County Emergency Management Issues Overnight Cold Weather Alerts

Oxford County is extending its cold weather alert due to dipping temperatures in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow night.

County Emergency Services are warning overnight temperatures could get below the minus 15 degree mark before letting up on Saturday.

Officials say seniors, toddlers and young children along with outdoor workers are the highest risk when out in the cold.

Depending on where you are in Oxford, some locations in rural communities such as local churches, Salvation Army locations and community centres.
