GRCA Flood Coordinators Managing Flows Across Watershed

The Grand River Conservation Authority says despite the rain being over and temperatures staying cool, some areas could still see flooding.

In Wilmot and New Hamburg warnings remain in effect, with levels expected to drop later today.

Flood coordinators say ice jams could still cause some complications, but for the most part waters are receding in Mapleton and Drayton.

As for Woolwich and West Montrose the St. Jacobs Bridge will remain closed until further notice, with other closures along Three Bridges Road.

Flows in that area are expected to be high until the end of the week.
