South Pacific to open at Drayton

Local theatre buffs were disappointed to hear that Festival favourite Chilina Kennedy will not be seen on the stage in Stratford this season.

She was supposed to have leading roles in Man of La Mancha and Crazy for You.

However, you can still see her at Drayton in the show South Pacific.

Kennedy says it’s a great play.

She says her character is a mixed bag.

Kennedy bowed out of the physically demanding performances when she announced she was pregnant earlier this year.

‘South Pacific’ opens on May 16th.
