Six Unlocked Vehicles Broken into in One Night

Investigators are looking into six cases of theft from a number of vehicles in West Perth.

The thefts took place on Thursday night, with thieves taking tools, cell phones, electronics and cash from unlocked cars.

The OPP says the thefts were crimes of opportunity, with those vehicles all left unlocked.

Police say they all happened in the same neighbourhood as they believe suspects were simply walking through the area testing door handles to see what was unlocked.

The OPP says make sure your vehicles are always locked and keys are never left in them.
