Blood Donor Clinic Makes Stop in Stratford Today

Canadian Blood Services is making a stop in Stratford today, during a critical time for the national organization.

Territory Manger Stephanie Wilkinson says the national inventory of blood used in emergency rooms, for research and treatment is low.

O-negative is used in emergency situations when there isn’t time to determine a blood type if someone needs a transfusion or has suffered severe blood-loss.

The clinic runs today from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at the Christian Reform Church on Athlone Crescent.
