Territory Manger Stephanie Wilkinson says the national inventory of blood used in emergency rooms, for research and treatment is low. //www.mystratfordnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/CLINIC-1.mp3 Donors can either show up or make an appointment online. Wilkinson says universal O-negative donors are in the highest demand, but CBS needs all blood types. //www.mystratfordnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/CLINIC-2.mp3 O-negative is used in emergency situations when there isn’t time to determine a blood type if someone needs a transfusion or has suffered severe blood-loss. The clinic runs today from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at the Christian Reform Church on Athlone Crescent.
