Flu Outbreak Status Remains in Effect for Stratford General Hospital

The Stratford General Hospital’s flu outbreak remains in effect.

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance says the hospital’s Medicine and Integrated Stroke Unit will remain closed to admissions until the outbreak is declared over.

The hospital is asking that you do not visit patients if you’re feeling ill or have any flu-like symptoms.

If you do, to wait at least 72 hours before paying a visit to a patient.

Last Wednesday there were 10 confirmed cases of influenza in the unit.
