Stratford woman involved in crash in Mitchell

Police say a motorcycle rider was fortunate to walk away from an accident in Mitchell.

OPP officers were called to the scene at the intersection of Wellington and Frank just after 11:00 p.m. last night.

Their investigation showed a woman driving a car turned in front of the motorcycle.

The rider, a 19-year-old man from West Perth, was thrown from it but wasn’t hurt.

The driver, a 19-year-old from Stratford, was also uninjured.

She’s now facing one charge.
