Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of south western Ontario calling for heavy snow beginning on Thursday.
The national forecaster says rain tomorrow will transition to snow as a low pressure system works its way north into the region.
As much as 15 centimetres of snow could be on the way starting Thursday night and continuing into Friday morning.
High winds are also in the forecast so drivers should be prepared for poor visibility, especially through the overnight on Thursday.
