Cadzow Park Splash Pad Gets Green Light from Council

The Town of St. Marys has landed on a design for the new Cadzow Park splash pad.

Council gave the 1600 square foot plan approval last night after hearing feedback from the public and elementary school students.

The accessible splash pad will be divided into two separate sections, with one dedicated to toddlers and the other dedicated to children and teens.

Ground is expected to be broken at the end of April or beginning of May to get started on the 27 water feature project.

The playground will be closed for parts of the construction for safety.

The Rotary Club of St. Marys has donated $100,000 towards the splash pad, with another $20,000 from the local Lions Club going towards a new pavilion.
