OPP Hosts Crime Prevention Info Session for Local Businesses

Officers from the OPP say its recent theft prevention evening was well-attended in North Perth.

Police helped to host the event alongside Perth County-based Trillium Insurance along with the OPP’s auxiliary unit.

The OPP says it was hoping to engage local businesses in the info session aimed at crime prevention.

The evening included demonstrations, sharing more information on local crime stats and the important role of community partners.

Constable Laura Brown says more info sessions are likely to be scheduled in the area as part of new crime prevention initiatives the OPP is introducing this year.
