Blanche Ash, age 98, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, March 15, 2018. Born in Drew, Ontario, daughter of the late Thomas and Edna Shannon. Beloved wife of the late Ray Ash. Cherished mother of Verlyn (Bob) and Robert (Deb). Loved grandmother of Jane (Jeff), Peggy (Pat), Crystal (Adam), Thomas (Chevonne) and great grandmother of Molly, Finn, Oliver and Nolan. Fondly remembered by Barrett, Brittany (Jordan), Hunter, Bethany, Brooklyn (Owen) and Evelynn. Survived by her brother-in-law Ralph, sisters-in-law; Helen, Marjorie, Helen and Shirley and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.  Visitation at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Monday, March 19 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. Interment in Harriston Cemetery in the spring.
