Final Phase for Cadzow Park

The Town of St. Marys is in the final phase of a multi-year plan to revitalize Cadzow Park. Over the next several months, a splash pad, pavilion and performing arts stage will be added to the park. The parking lot will also be expanded as part of the project, which aims to make Cadzow the premiere family park in St. Marys.

Work on the park gets underway this week and will continue throughout the spring and summer. The majority of construction will be finished in time for the Town’s annual Canada Day celebration on Sunday, July 1, 2018. Any remaining work will be done in September.

Cadzow’s playground will be closed until approximately 6:00 p.m. on weekdays when crews are onsite. Signs will be posted throughout the park to indicate when the playground is open. The parking lot will also be inaccessible while the work is being done and will remain closed until after Canada Day.

There may also be increased truck traffic on streets surrounding Cadzow Park during this time.
