Progressive Conservatives announce energy plan

Tim Hudak announced his plan today to shrink energy bills and in turn create 40,000 new jobs.

It includes things like investing in nuclear, hydroelectricity and natural gas and replacing the subsidies for wind turbines and solar panels.

Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece says high bills are keeping businesses stagnant:

The PC’s plan also includes slashing the energy bureaucracy which the party says has doubled in the last decade.
