A Stratford resident and a legendary news anchor is set to recieve a prestigious honour.
The Canadian Journalism Foundation will present their Lifetime Achievement Award to Peter Mansbridge at their annual awards in Toronto in June.
Mansbridge spent five decades with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation including twenty-nine years as the anchor of The National.
Others who have received the honour in the past include Lloyd Robertson, Knowlton Nash and Peter Gzowski.
