Perth-Wellington NDP responds to Hudak plan

PC Party Leader Tim Hudak released details of his election platform yesterday.

He wants to balance the budget in two years and create one million new private sector jobs.

His promise to cut 100,000 positions from the civil service drew fire from his political opponents.

Perth-Wellington NDP candidate Romayne Smith-Fullerton says it will make matters worse.

Hudak also vowed to reduce the income and corporate tax rates.

Smith-Fullerton says the province needs targeted tax cuts for business to create jobs instead of across-the-board reductions.
