Stratford’s Habitat for Humanity ReStore on the move

Stratford’s Habitat for Humanity ReStore will soon have a new home.

The store is moving from its current location on Griffith Road to one on Lorne Avenue with a projected opening date of late May.

New and gently used building materials and household supplies are sold at the ReStore with money collected going to help support the work of Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario which supports local families with affordable home ownership.

East Region Restore Manager Cathy McCue says she’s excited for the move.

“We’ve had tremendous support from our community, everyone’s always donated and we have wonderful products coming in, but unfortunately at this time we’ve outgrown it and we want to be able to serve Stratford better so we are moving to the new location.”

McCue adds their current location will stay open leading up to the move.
