Candidates seeking to run in municipal election in the fall can file nomination papers now.
The deadline for nominations for those seeking to run for municipal government, including mayor and councillor, as well school board trustee is July 27th,
Would-be candidates can’t begin spending on their campaigns until they file their papers.
Municipal elections are set for October 22nd.
Incumbent Councillor Bonnie Henderson is the first candidate to be publicly running in Stratford.
