Wednesday is McHappy Day

It’s your chance to do something good while doing something you do on a regular basis.

Wednesday is McHappy Day at McDonald’s Restaurants across Canada including here in Stratford with a dollar from every coffee, McCafe beverage, Happy Meal or Big Mac sold going to help Ronald McDonald House Charities and local charities.

Manager of the McDonald’s on Ontario Street in Stratford, Corrie Hart, says the work the Ronald McDonald House Charities do is invaluable.

“The Ronald McDonald charities support families so they don’t have to pay the cost of hotels, they look after all the families so they are close to their children when they are in the hospital, they look after their meals and their housing.”

Hart adds they will also be using the money raised to support the YMCA of Stratford-Perth Strong Kids Campaign.
