Drunk driver parks truck on fire hose

A drunk driver parked his truck on a fire hose last week in Central Huron.

Police and firefighters had been called out to a fire on Londesboro Road at around 5:00pm on May 9th.

Almost two hours later, a 48-year-old man pulled into the driveway of the burning residence and parked his pickup truck on the fire hose.

Police figured out quickly he was impaired.

The man was charged, lost his license for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for a week.
