Woman killed in crash west of Drayton

Just what caused a deadly crash west of Drayton remains under investigation.

Police say it happened around 1:30 p.m. Monday on Wellington Road 8, between Side Road 12 and Side Road 15.

They say a vehicle driven by a 24-year-old woman crashed into the ditch.

Jordan Marie MacDougall from Moorefield was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police closed off Wellington Road 8 for several hours as they investigated but it has since reopened.
