Photo supplied by www.creastats.crea.ca. There’s good news when it comes to home sales in our area. The Huron Perth Association of Realtors says a total of 195 units were sold locally in April, a 12 per cent drop from the same time last year. However, they say that number “stood above every other April sales figure on record” and last year was a hot period for real estate. As for how much homes are selling for, the average residential property sold for $372,276 in April which is a record high. A home sales total of $72.6 million is also a record figure in our region and is an eight per cent increase over April 2017.
