Good news when it comes to home sales in the Stratford area

There’s good news when it comes to home sales in our area.

The Huron Perth Association of Realtors says a total of 195 units were sold locally in April, a 12 per cent drop from the same time last year.

However, they say that number “stood above every other April sales figure on record” and last year was a hot period for real estate.

As for how much homes are selling for, the average residential property sold for $372,276 in April which is a record high.

A home sales total of $72.6 million is also a record figure in our region and is an eight per cent increase over April 2017.
