Police investigating after theft from Zorra Township business

Police are searching for suspects after a break in at a Zorra Township business.

Investigators say it happened just after 9 p.m. on May 8th at a business on Road 68, near 45th Line.

They say a neighbor passing by noticed a suspicious vehicle parked at the back of the business, the neighbor said they then saw three or four male suspects running from a workshop on the property.

According to investigators, the suspects left the business in an early model Ford crew cab pick up truck, maroon in color, with grey on the bottom and it was last seen driving into Woodstock.

The suspects got into the business by prying open a rear locked door and police say they took items including several Dewalt power hand tools, a Honda 200 watt generator and copper scrap and copper fitting, with the total of the items stolen estimated at around $10 thousand.

Police are looking to speak to anyone who knows anything about what happened.
