Stratford man hurt in crash, hit by stolen truck

A Stratford man is recovering today after an accident near Mitchell.

The Perth County OPP says emergency personnel responded to the scene at the intersection of Line 36 and Road 150 yesterday morning.

A Toyota Tundra, which had been stolen from a farm on Line 32, ran the stop sign and t-boned a cube van.

According to a witness a black four-door car that had gone through the intersection ahead of the Tundra then turned around and picked up the driver.

The 40-year-old who was driving the van suffered non-life threatening injuries.
