Just in time for your summer garden, here’s an event for you.
The Stratford Communities in Bloom Planter Day is Saturday in the Stratford Home Hardware parking lot.
It goes from 9 a.m. to noon and you can pick up free potting soil and mulch for two planters or blue boxes per household, you are asked to bring your own containers.
There will also be rain barrels and blue bins for sale.
