A 43-year-old man has been taken to hospital after he became trapped in a machine at a metal cleaning plant in Woodstock.
Woodstock police say an officer who arrived on scene Tuesday morning was able to apply an emergency tourniquet and it took firefighters approximately 50 minutes to free from the man.
He was taken to a trauma centre by air ambulance and is in serious condition.
Police say they will be assisting the Ministry of Labour with the investigation.
