Federal offender wanted on Canada Wide Warrant may be in Perth County

A federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant may be in our area.

Ontario Provincial Police say 24-year-old Dustin Lunz is wanted after he breached his parole and he’s descibed as white, 6’2, 265 lbs and has tattoos on both his wrists, high right arm and right calf.

He is serving just over two years for crimes including break and enter and flight from police and he was released on parole from the Beaver Creek Institution in Gravenhurst back on February 27th.

Detective Constable Steve Sermet says he’s known to frequent areas including Perth County.

“He is basically on statutory release, so what happened was he signed out of a half way house in Kitchener on the 14th of May and he failed to return therefore once that happened a Canada wide parole warrant was issued for him.”

Police say if you see him you shouldn’t approach him but instead call 911 right away.
