An 81-year-old Stratford woman has died after a crash in Mitchell.
Perth County OPP say they were called to the corner of Montreal Street and St.David’s Street just before 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.
They say their early investigation has revealed that a sedan was travelling eastbound on Montreal Street when it collided with a large van travelling southbound on St. David’s Street.
According to police, the vehicles collided at the intersection with the sedan coming to a stop near an adjacent home.
The woman driving the sedan, identified as Eleanor Young, was airlifted to a trauma centre in London where she later died.
