A 17-year-old is in custody after allegedly ditching a cab fare.
The Stratford Police says the local youth hired a cab from Guelph to Stratford yesterday.
When the cab got to the city he took off without paying the $161 that was owed.
A gym bag that was left in the cab had stolen items from both Stratford and the Guelph area inside.
The teen, who was identified through the help of the cab’s camera footage, was arrested near City Hall.
He’s currently waiting on a bail hearing.
