There’s no change at the top when it comes to two area ridings.
The Ontario PC’s Ernie Hardeman has been re-elected as MPP in Oxford County.
He defeated NDP candidate Tara King and Liberal James Howard.
Hardeman has served as MPP for Oxford since 1995 and is the areas longest serving member of the Ontario legislature in its history.
In the Huron-Bruce riding, the PC’s Lisa Thompson has also reclaimed her seat.
The NDP’s Jan Johnstone finished second in that riding.
