It was a close call for a driver who police say tried to avoid a deer only to end up in the ditch.
Police say it happened last Friday around 9:30 a.m. southeast of Linwood on Hackbart Road near Hutchinson Road.
They say the driver made a sudden maneuver to avoid the animal but then rolled the car into the ditch.
According to police, the driver was able to climb out through the vehicle’s rear hatch and he wasn’t hurt.
There will be no charges laid in the incident.
