Motorcycle driver suffers serious injuries in collision in South-West Oxford Township

A motorycle driver has serious injuries after a collision with a pickup truck in South-West Oxford Township.

Police say it happened just after 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon on Prouse Road, West of Culloden Line.

They say their investigation has so far revealed that the motorcycle was travelling westbound on Prouse Road and the truck was travelling eastbound on the road with the truck attempting to turn into a laneway which resulted in the head on crash.

The adult male driver of the motorcycle suffered serious injuries with his female passenger suffering non-life threatening injuries, both were brought to hospital.

The driver of the truck was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Police continue to investigate what happened.
