One man dead after collision involving tractor trailer in Blanford Blenheim Township

One man is dead after a collision involving a transport truck in Blandford Blenheim Township.
Police say it happened Sunday afternoon around 3:30 at the intersection of Oxford Road 29 at Oxford Road 22.
They say the transport truck was travelling eastbound on Oxford Road 29 when it collided with a car that was travelling southbound on Oxford Road 22.
According to police, the collision caused the transport truck and trailers to go off the road and flip over.
They say the man driving the car was airlifted to hospital where he later died from injuries suffered in the crash with his name being withheld pending the notification of next of kin.
The truck driver was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
Police continue to investigate what happened.
