A company that has called Stratford home for many years is celebrating the grand opening of its new location.
Samsonite is holding the event Thursday at the location of its new home on C.H. Meier Boulevard.
There will be a ribbon cutting and tours as part of the festivities.
Samsonite makes items for travelers including luggage and backpacks.
It first opened in Stratford in 1960.
