A new program from the Avon Maitland District School Board is the first of its kind in the area.
The new regional program is customized for students who want to have agriculture as a primary focus in business and science.
It focus on what happens from the farm to the table and students in Perth and Huron Counties who have enrolled in secondary schools can attend Mitchell District High School for one semester.
They would then return to their home school for the rest of their education.
