A singer from Embro will represent Stratford in New Brunswick this August.
Chloe Weir took first place in open level voice for live performance at the Ontario Music Festival Association Provincial Finals in Hamilton earlier this month.
That paved the way for her to compete at the Federation of Canadian Music Festivals National Finals at Mount Alison University in New Brunswick.
It’s the third year in a row she will compete at the event after winning the Musical Theatre category last year.
The Avon Public School Ensemble and the Stratford Concert Band also qualified for the Nationals earlier by securing first place in their respective categories.
