Police raid in Stratford nets weapons, drugs

A police raid in Stratford has taken $2800 worth of drugs off the streets.

According to the Stratford Police Service a warrant was executed at a Norman Street home at midnight Tuesday.

Officers seized 280 grams of marijuana along with a loaded .22 rifle and a morning star weapon.

Three people from Stratford, a 15-year-old, an 18-year-old, and a 21-year-old, were arrested.

The 15-year-old was released unconditionally and the 18-year-old has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.

The 21-year-old has been charged with possession of a controlled substance as well and numerous weapons offences.
