Stratford launches ‘Keep it Kool’ program with hot weather on the way

With the temperatures expected to soar over the long weekend, Stratford is keeping it kool.

The city has activated its ‘Keep it Kool’ program which starts Friday and runs until at least Monday.

As part of the program, the Anne Hathaway Park Splash Pad will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Stratford Public Library will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and the Stratford Rotary Complex will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily.

The public is invited to come and cool off at these locations.

As well, there will be free public swimming from 2 to 4 p.m. daily until Tuesday at the Stratford Lions Pool.
