Calling them “senseless acts of vandalism”, Perth County OPP are investigating what two acts of vandalism at the St.Marys Cement Plant.
They say the first incident happened during the early morning hours on Canada Day when suspects entered the building and caused damage to multiple pieces of equipment.
According to police, a structure on the property was also broken into and damaged, the dollar estimate of all of the damage caused is pegged at over $75 thousand.
Then in the early morning on Wednesday, police say an area of brush on the property was set on fire by suspects.
Anyone who knows anything about what happened is asked to call Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
