A fire ban continues across a majority of Perth County.
Officials say the very hot and dry conditions we have seen lately has lead to all recreational fires and burn permits being suspended until further notice.
The ban is in place in the Townships of Perth East and Perth South and the Municipality of West Perth.
The only exceptions to the ban are cooking fires within approved campgrounds with those fires only being permitted from noon until midnight.
Back yard fires are still being permitted in St.Marys.
