A legendary news anchor from our city can now say he has a park named after him.
Lloyd Robertson Park officially opened on Saturday north of Toronto in Markham.
Robertson started his long career in broadcasting here in Stratford in 1952 and went on to become the chief anchor for CTV News from 1983 to 2011.
