New partnership aiming to teach us about conserving nature

Becoming more engaged in nature conservation.

That’s the goal behind a partnership between the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority and the World Wildlife Fund of Canada at conservation areas in London, Woodstock and St.Marys.

More than 500 thousand people visit the three conservation areas every year and the partnership is looking to educate and inform them about the local environment.

Steve Sauder with the UTRCA says it’s all about getting people engaged.

“It’s really a pretty basic message of understanding a little more about nature and what individuals can do to conserve it.”
