V.J. “JIM” MALONEY
Jim Maloney, 67, of Stratford and formerly of Mitchell passed away at Stratford General Hospital with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 28, 2014.
Beloved husband of Susan Maloney. Loving father of  Jamie Maloney and Stephanie, Angela Pedra and Steve. Loving “Pop” of Talon, Chayse, Madison, Lynsey, Jordyn and Jonathan. Dear brother of Theresa Mederak, John Maloney and Mardie, Frank Maloney and Louise, Steve Maloney, Louis Maloney and Therese, Joan Hagarty and Jack. Dear brother-in-law of Tom Boyd and Cathy, Joe Boyd and Bev, Steve Boyd, Rick Boyd and Karen, Garry Boyd and Cindy, Jody Vos and Barry and Janet Boyd. He will be missed by his “Godson” Rick Maloney and his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Clotilda Maloney, sisters Margaret O’Rourke and Mary Morrison and brother Peter Maloney.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Mitchell on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
