Special Investigations Unit called in to investigate death in Zorra Township

The province’s police watchdog is investigating a sudden death in Zorra Township.

Oxford County OPP say just after 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon officers responded to an address where they located a dead woman.

They say police had spoken to her on Saturday but don’t say why.

The OPP has notified the province’s Special Investigations Unit which has taken over the investigation.

The SIU is an agency that investigates when there is a police related death or serious injury.
