The United Way Perth-Huron has given a boost to the F.U.E.L. Plus program.
It has allocated $17,500 for the Perth District Health Unit to expand its Females Using Energy for Life secondary school initiative.
F.U.E.L. allows female high school students to develop awareness of their bodies and an improved sense of physical and emotional well-being.
The goal is to make participants more confident decision makers.
