Perth District Health Unit searching for dog involved in biting incident in St.Marys

The Perth District Health Unit is searching for a dog involved in a biting incident in St.Marys.

They say it happened on Queen Street near the TD Canada Trust Bank around 10:15 p.m. last Saturday.

According to the PDHU, the dog was being walked by a couple who said they were from Stratford and the dog is described as a medium-sized white dog with short hair.

The Health Unit is investigating to see if the dog has up-to-date rabies shots and if the dog is not found the person who was bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.

The PDHU says you should always obtain the contact information of the owners involved in a biting incident.
