Opening of Stratford Summer Music’s Museum of the Moon delayed by weather

We will have to wait a little longer to check out the Museum of the Moon.

Stratford Summer Music says because of the potential for thunderstorms Thursday and winds and rain Friday, and through consultation with their production manager, they have decided to call off all activities on Tom Patterson Island until Saturday.

They say that with staff and public safety in mind, along with the reality of the conditions of the balloon itself, they have a revised plan to mount the balloon Saturday morning and illuminate it with music on Saturday night.

They say that fingers crossed, they hope to carry out the full remainder of the moon’s schedule.
