Photo supplied by www.perthhuron.unitedway.ca. The Avon Maitland District School Board is staying by the 2015 curriculum for sex education. A special meeting was held on Friday where the board stood behind the opinion of the Ontario Public School Board Association. That’s that the 2015 curriculum be taught until a new curriculum is ready to go into place after a proposed consultation period. Trustees voted in support of a motion to support that perspective which is now expected to be circulated.
